After reading the Credenda Agenda article "How N.T. Wright Stole Christmas" (http://bit.ly/4ymv9T), I changed it from 'advent' to 'Christmas' song. Not only that, but I think mwY gets more of what, the article argues, many Christmas songs miss -- namely, the biblical, history-of-Israel imagery. The article really pins down the modern evangelical, politically kosher (no pun intended) nature of many traditional carols. Good reading, and quite applicable!

I was thinking about posting the part about the barn in the Cabbagetown. It is really a nice Christmas song.
