A Peak XV-backed school declares war on IIT coaching—by hiring 200 IITians
What I learnt is that their fees differ as per different geographic locations. Also the IITians are being hired in those schools that have students in Class VI and above - not all their schools are higher secondary. Having said that, I think they have more of these faculty in schools in urban TIER-1 cities, many of which by default charge higher fees

Hello A P As the writer of this piece, I could say the same. I hate to see people cast aspersions on stories based on their presumptions. I am sorry but I take exception to such comments. I spent over 8days reporting on this story. Yes we did say that the school is trying to break the back of coaching industry by hiring IITians but then did you miss the part where we quoted coaching experts saying it will take more than just a few IITians to take away their crown? Did you also miss the part where we said the school is desperate for an image makeover owing to the numerous cases filed by parents against it in several cities? And did you not see the part where we wrote about Orchids B2B vertical where these IITians will also generate content - translation, more money for the company. And the part about them taking advantage of bad placement seasons but what happens when the job market corrects? I am guessing you were in a hurry so you probably missed reading the conflict which we pointed at every stage. When writers write stories that narrates a grim situation at a company, they are accused of doing "hit" pieces. When writers write stories of an initiative which can elevate a company, its called a "paid" piece. Sad.

Hi Sreedhar. It's a tough approach to take for writing and thank you for acknowledging it. About Ozempic - you picked on my biggest concern. I have been on the fence for a while only because of the long term dependency factor. Affordability is one thing but there is so much more involved in committing to a drug for a long term or life long?

Thank you Srikanth. Difficult to explain how hard the process to bare my failures and vulnerabilities was. And thank you for the wishes, I will need all the good luck!

Hi Shivna. Thanks for sharing your experience. As someone who will be going on it, I would like to learn from you, and any other users. Was it an injectable you took or a pill?

Unacademy stifles tutors after giving them free rein
Hi Ashutosh. I am sorry the article disappointed you. However I fail to understand why you would call it rumours when there is evidence, most of it in the form of public videos or posts, about the same. Also some good points on what we could have Also discussed but unfortunately one article can't deal with everything. Will keep your pointers in mind for any followups

Per month! And that was just his salary, perks additional. There is an interview you will find on the web where Abhinay Sharma says teachers are being paid 8-10 million a year. He wasn't the only one
