Thank you, Angad, for writing in! Indeed, concerns around brain drain and the loss of certain job opportunities will always exist. Particularly, as we enter the AI-age. However, the bigger picture that India is working toward is the development of the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor (IMEEC) as a counterbalance to China. Greater exposure to the global market through the Middle East route is expected to unlock the larger potential for Indian manufacturing. Not only supply chain, making in Emirates would also boost brand visibility. For instance, Lenskart despite being larger than Warby Parker remains a far less recognised brand in West. While Lenskart continues to manufacture over 95% of its prescription glasses in India, manufacturing in Singapore, Dubai would only add to the exposure. And, it's a closed loop. The rising demand abroad will ultimately drive supply back at home with better product margins.
