Also, to add to the post, I feel like this whole thing with confessing your sins has the potential to get a little prideful – remember the illustration of the testimony where the speaker spends 25 minutes talking about his sinful life and 5 minutes on God’s work in his heart.

We should be focused on God, not us, even if it’s about God’s work in use. It’s pretty easy to slip back to self focus.
