There are also dangers that are common and that we face in mundane and everyday life—betrayal, mistakes, missed opportunities, and so on. But they do seem a lot less dangerous than the dangers you speak of, the ones that leap out or we seek out. Or at least a lot more manageable.

And then there is also the danger of giving up the mundane, as you addressed. It is a fight, I agree.
